Here is the painting from Saturday’s “quick draw” that I reworked on Sunday and is still in process. I had originally planned to put in a tree behind the mama cow in the upper right hand corner and then there were some smaller trees in front of a window in the orange wall between the two cows that I had wanted to put in. That would help make the grasses stand out against the darker shapes. They blend in too much with the wall right now. Obviously I do not work fast enough outdoors under pressure. I can see too that I need to adjust the lighting on my easel as this photo is also lighter on the left to right sweep. To be continued…Search This Blog

Holy Cow, part II
